Toowoomba Regional Council’s $25 million City Library creates a distinct and contemporary civic landmark in the business centre of the garden city.
Toowoomba’s City Library spans three-levels incorporating traditional library facilities alongside six business, training and community meeting rooms. The large combined conference room divides into three smaller seminar rooms.
Visual Focus designed an audio-visual solution providing high functionality, flexibility and uniformity. Equipment is standardised across the conference, training and meeting spaces.
Council required user-friendly simplicity, connectability from multiple sources and capacity for plug-in equipment to seamlessly integrate with visual, audio and control systems.
In the natural light filled main conference rooms, Visual Focus selected Epson projectors to deliver an audio-visual solution with high brightness projection, technical flexibility and reliability.
Epson projectors achieve matched colour and flawless image quality from the three separate projectors focus on Screen Technics motorised in-ceiling screens.
In four training and meeting rooms, Visual Focus selected Epson ultra short throw interactive projectors offering large size, high quality imaging with an unobtrusive installation above the whiteboard.
The ability to Bring Your Own Devices (BYOD) to work with the system means Library staff deliver excellent customer services to their clients.
Using Kramer and Crestron control systems, Visual Focus programmed uniform automation settings across all meeting, training and conference spaces with simple-to-use connectability and seamless integration.
Visual Focus created a value for money solution that delivers on functional requirements and contributes to the aesthetic of an ultramodern conference centre.
