Dalby Drone Forum

Drone are increasingly used for commercial applications from agriculture to disaster management, festival events to real estate.

Drones or Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) is one of the fastest growing sectors in the aviation industry.

in 2015, 300 delegates attended the Dalby Drone Industry Forum to talk all things drones.

On screen presentations explained the rapid advancement of the technology.   Forum organisers made sure the visual presentation technology and technical support was also of the highest standard reflecting the importance of the event.

Visual Focus was engaged to provide the audio-visual equipment and our professional audio-visual operator ensured the system worked seamlessly for the guest speakers.    On the day, we coordinated the content of presentations with each speaker and delivered it on screen without a hitch.  We also supported the integration of equipment by the professional videographer engaged to document the event.

Visual Focus provided the audio-visual technology with crystal clear picture quality from dual projectors onto large screens, positioning them for perfect viewing by each delegate at the sold-out Forum in the Dalby Showgrounds Pavilion.  Using our professional audio-visual switcher, the next element to be presented on screen could be cued ready, making changes seamless and efficient.

Feedback from Council’s Major Events Officer: “I just wanted to pass on what a fantastic job Ralph did at the Dalby Drone Industry. Ralph was fantastic to work with and the day ran smoothly with no issues in regard to sound or visual.”

The Dalby Drone Industry Forum was held at the Dalby Showground Pavilion in September 2016 and was presented by the Western Downs Regional Council in conjunction with the UAV Challenge and in partnership with the Department of State Development and Regional Development Australia.  High profile speakers included the 2015 Businesswoman of the Year Dr Catherine Ball and President of Australian Association for Unmanned Systems Reece Clothier.
